Omar Mateen: Orlando Mass Murder Profile

Omar Mateem had some very serious internal emotional/sexual issues. A quick profile on this extremist based on his behavior tells me he was a latent homosexual or a practicing bi-sexual who could not handle his sexual urges. It is what is called being on the "down low." Mateem hated himself for being weak and having or engaging in homosexual activities, fantasies and thoughts. Anyone who has this much haltered for a class, group or race of people has some very serious psychological issues that he could not cope with. He used two or maybe three primitive defense mechanisms to cope with these conflicting emotions.

1) Denial; People use "Denial" in their everyday lives to avoid dealing with painful feelings or areas of their life they don’t wish to admit.

2) Acting Out; is performing an extreme behavior in order to express thoughts or feelings the person feels incapable of otherwise expressing or admitting to.
This extremist wanted to eliminate the very people, I believe he was attracted too. In his warped mind he believed by eliminating the temptation "gays" he would eliminate his homosexual urges and fantasies.

3) Reaction Formation; Reaction Formation is the converting of unwanted or dangerous thoughts, feelings or impulses into their opposites. Marteen became an Islamic extremist where hating homosexual's and homosexual activates is forbidden. This is a way for him to hide his bisexual / homosexual  desires. The same behavior is seen with some religious leaders who want to rid the world of sex and pornography and are sex addicts themselves. How many times have you heard about a minister or religious leader who has stated "I have sinned."

Islamic extremists hate homosexuals. Yet some, not all, practice and enjoy homosexual activities of their own. This is called Bacha bazi.

Bacha bazi literally means “boy play” from Bacha “child” and Bizi “game” is a slang term in Afghanistan for a wide variety of activities that involve child sexual abuse and pederasty. The perpetrator is called Bacha Baz meaning “pedophile” in Persian.

It may include to some extent child pornography, sexual slavery, and child prostitution in which prepubescent and adolescent boys are sold to wealthy or powerful men for entertainment and sexual activities
Bacha bazi has existed throughout history, and is currently reported in various parts of Afghanistan. Force and coercion are a common component of this abuse, and security officials state they are unable to end it because many of the men involved in bacha bazi-related activities are powerful and well-armed warlords including former Northern Alliance commanders.

Men who engage in Bacha bazi  state, "women are for marriage and child bearing, boys are for sex and fun."
