Tom Brady
I may be wrong here, I am not buying any of this. I pay very close attention to a person's words and actions. Are they congruent with each other? When a person states one thing and does another that tells me something else is at play. That is always a red flag for me when detecting deception.
I was asked the other day do you believe Tom Brady is retiring? I said to her point blank "knowing him the way I do, don't be surprised if he comes out with a comeback statement. He does not want to go out a loser and he loves the attention." Why do I say this? He stated that he would not mention any retirement talk until after the Super Bowl game. He did not want to take attention away from the Super Bowl.
What did he do? He took all the attention away from the Super Bowl with his retirement statement, before the Super Bowl. That is all anyone is talking about. Most people do not even know what teams are playing in the Super Bowl. All that has been talked about is Tom Brady and his possible retirement and now he has allegedly retired. I use the word allegedly.
We all love Tom Brady up here in New England for all the wonderful years he played for the Patriots. Tom Brady also loves being the center of attention. He is the center of attention right now. He has only been retired for less than two weeks and he has already made a statement about not ruling out a possible comeback. Comeback from what? You haven't gone anywhere yet. Lets change the name of the Super Bowl to the Brady Bowl. Tom I was born at night, but it wasn't last night. When detecting deception sooner or later when a person is being deceptive their words and actions will betray them.
If Tom Brady comes out of retirement to play one more year it will be the biggest sports story in the history of sports. Even if he doesn't that will be all everyone will be talking about.
Either way Tom will be the center of attention for the next six months. The only story that would be bigger is a flying saucer landing on the front lawn of the White House.
What does upset me in this reality TV show called Tom Brady, is that Ohio has a team going to the Super Bowl for the first time in thirty three years a fourth place team who fought hard to get there. And no one is talking about it. I was so happy for Cincinnati and all those wonderful people in the heartland who have something to cheer about for a change. All of their thunder was taken away by Tom and his deep need for attention.

Tom Brady announces NFL return after 40-day retirement
Tom Brady announced his return to football Sunday night with a social media post declaring he will play a 23rd NFL season in Tampa Bay.
The post read: These past two months, I've realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it's not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I'm coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business.
